At Echoholics Records, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website, interact with our content, or make purchases.

01

Who we are

Echoholics Records (“Echoholics,” “we,” “us”) is an independent record label and recording studio based in Northeast Indiana. For any privacy question, reach us at support@echoholics.com.

02

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, information collected automatically as you use the site, and information from the service providers that help us operate.

Information you provide

  • Account details — name, email, username, and password when you register as a fan, member, or creator.
  • Orders & payments — items purchased, billing and shipping details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we don’t store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Memberships — the plan you hold and its billing status (for the Beat Vault subscription).
  • Submissions & uploads — demos, audio, images, and messages you send us or upload to your account.
  • Communications — anything you send through our contact or support forms, and newsletter sign-ups.
  • Reviews — if you leave a review, your first name, star rating, and review text are published publicly on the site alongside our response, if we reply.
  • Messages — direct messages you send to creators or staff through the site are stored to maintain your conversation history.
  • Wishlist — items you save are stored to your account so you can find them later, and so we can tell you if the price drops.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage & device data — pages viewed, links clicked, browser and device type, and approximate location from your IP address. Page views and plays are recorded against a one-way daily code derived from your IP and browser rather than your IP address itself, so this can’t be used to identify you or track you across days. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
  • Cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

03

How we use it

  • Provide and operate the site, your account, orders, bookings, and memberships.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Respond to your messages and support requests.
  • Send you updates you asked for, and marketing emails you can opt out of at any time.
  • Understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

04

Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser and our consent banner. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

05

How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Echoholics, and only as needed:

  • Payment processing — Stripe to handle transactions securely.
  • Hosting & delivery — our web host and content-delivery network.
  • Email — our email/newsletter provider to send messages you’ve opted into.
  • Merchandise fulfillment — Printful, to produce and ship physical orders. This includes your name and shipping address.
  • Business & accounting records — PMSuite, to maintain our sales and client records.
  • Security — Wordfence, to protect the site from malicious traffic, and Cloudflare Turnstile, to prevent automated form abuse.
  • Legal — when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.

If Echoholics is ever involved in a merger or sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

06

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, then only as long as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

07

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email support@echoholics.com and we’ll respond as required by law.

08

Marketing emails

When you opt in, we send release news, studio updates, and offers. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can update your preferences from your account. Transactional messages (receipts, booking confirmations, account notices) aren’t marketing and are sent as part of the service.

09

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security — but we work to keep your data safe and act quickly if something goes wrong.

10

Children's privacy

Echoholics isn’t directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we’ll provide a more prominent notice.
