About this service

What you're getting

Some songs need a second writer. Maybe the verses are there and the hook won't come, maybe you've got a concept and no idea how to structure it, or maybe you just write better with someone across the table.

The important part, and the reason this service starts with a conversation instead of a checkout button: paying for studio time does not transfer songwriting ownership. Publishing, credit, royalty splits and writer's share are separate from what you pay us, and we settle all of that in writing before a single line gets written. Plenty of artists have been burned by studios that left this vague. We're not going to be one of them.

Once that's clear, the session is the easy part.

How it works

The process

1.
Reach out first
Songwriting starts with a short conversation, not a checkout button. We'll talk about the song and how credit works.
2.
Agree on splits up front
Before any writing happens, in writing. No ambiguity later.
3.
Book the session
Once terms are clear, we schedule the time.
3.
Write together
Lyrics, hooks, melody, structure, whatever the song needs.
5.
Leave with the song
Lyric sheet and any reference recordings from the session.

Deliverables & revisions

What you walk away with

Included revisions
0 rounds
  • Lyric sheet
  • Reference recordings or voice memos from the session
Revision Policy:

Billed hourly, so rewrites during your booked time are simply part of the session. Further work after the session is booked as additional hours.

Before you book

What we’ll need from you:

Bring whatever exists:

  • Any lyrics, verses or hook ideas you've already written
  • The beat or instrumental, if there is one
  • Reference tracks showing the direction or tone you want
  • A sense of what the song is about, even if it's rough

Coming in with nothing is fine too. That's a valid starting point.
