About this service

What you're getting

Full Mastering is for mixes that didn't come from us — your own work, another engineer's, or a session from years back you're finally ready to release. The extra cost over Light Mastering is the evaluation: listening to a mix cold, figuring out what it needs, and deciding how to finish it.

One thing we'll always be straight about — mastering finishes a good mix, it doesn't repair a broken one. If your mix has problems that mastering can't solve, we'll tell you before we charge you, and you can either revise and resend it or have us fix it at normal mixing rates. Nobody wins when a master gets pushed onto a mix that wasn't ready.

A stereo WAV with headroom, no limiter on the master bus.

We evaluate it
Before processing, we listen and tell you honestly whether it's ready.
3.
Mastering
EQ, dynamics, stereo work and loudness set for streaming.
4.
One revision round
Small tonal or loudness adjustments if you want them.
5.
Final delivery
WAV and MP3 masters.

Revision Policy:

1 revision round included. A mastering revision means a small tonal adjustment, a loudness change, or a minor processing tweak.

Changes that really belong to the mix — moving a vocal level, re-balancing instruments, fixing timing — aren't mastering revisions. If the mix needs that work, we'll quote it at normal mixing rates or you can revise and resend.

Before you book

What we’ll need from you:

Send your final mix as:

  • A stereo WAV file, 24-bit preferred
  • Headroom on the master bus — around -6 dBFS peak
  • No limiter or heavy compression on the master bus
  • The final version, not a work in progress
  • A reference track, if you have a target sound in mind

If we think the mix needs changes before mastering, we'll tell you before doing any work.
